Happy holidays, everyone!

I hope that you enjoy this installment. Constructive criticism is very welcome as per usual.

Since you never consider my criticizm constructive I'm not sure what I can say.

I see we are getting to some A plot meat here. Pieces are falling into place and Clark is setting himself up nicely for an encounter with kryptonite. I am curious as to how the globe is going to impact the storyline. You wouldn't have Lois in possession of it if you weren't going to have it impact things in some significant manner. I don't remember the exact wording of the first message, but didn't it make it clear that JorEl was Superman's father? Maybe it needed Clark's inherent connection to him to make that obvious. But it seems to me, in the series, Luthor picked up on Superman's alien origins right away.

I like Lois' confused thought patterns, and of course, our boy Clark is obsessive as ever. I'll even grant you Cat's little insecurities at the end there. Not sure exactly what she saw there during Joe's explosion, but it certainly spooked her. Perhaps Cat is beginning to feel smothered?

You can post more as soon as you want even though no one is home to be reading this for a few days.

Tank (who thinks it would be funny if at the end of this story Cat has returned to her old ways biggrin )

Well, Irene there was some really interesting thinking going on in this section. Lois tries to come to terms with her feelings for Clark and Superman while Clark just wants to have a relationship with Lois and worries about Superman's role in all that. So, I want more.

Then there's Cat. She seemed really nervous after her encounter with Ralph (what a jerk). I like Joe and Cat together, especially after Joe handled (or manhandled) Ralph so well.

Can't wait for more. Forget about the holiday stuff around the tree, opening the presents. Send the children and hubby away and write more.

happy holidays,
gerry

Irene,
Happy Holidays to you too.
Another good segment. And I agree - send the family away and keep writing and posting. Just kidding.

Don't break up Joe and Cat. I like your Cat.
Clear Lois's mind in favor of Clark and get them together.
more soon please

Still finding this story fresh.

I, too, don't want Ralph to have crashed Cat and Joe's ship. We already know that Cat is insecure about her past, so Joe just needs to assure her again.

James, who is wanting more soon....

Irene

Sorry I'm a bit late here. I'm just catching up now. This is an excellent part. smile

Lois's introspection is well-written. I can sense her confusion about her feelings for Clark and Superman.

I hope that Ralph's comment hasn't caused all of Cat's insecurities to surface. She probably feels that she isn't good enough for Joe. frown Joe had better convince her that she is. biggrin

I'm enjoying this and look forward to reading MORE.

Heh heh, anybody who manhandles Ralph like that is okay in my book! biggrin

But I am worried that it's spooked Cat, and I hope Joe (or someone) will be able to help her out here ... it'd be ironic if it were Lois who convinced her to take a risk; maybe she could convince herself, too.

The clues are starting to assemble, but so far they've still got zilch, so here's hoping their investigation progresses -- while of course I want happy endings for Lois & Clark and Cat & Joe, the story just wouldn't be complete without a profoundly *un*happy ending for Lex! biggrin

Thank you, Tank, gerry, merry, James, Tricia, and Pam, for your great comments.

Tank, of course I appreciate your criticism. Why, if it wasn't for you, I would have minimised Cat's involvement in this story and focused more on Lois! wink

People seem to be worried about Cat and Joe. I do believe that, in this story, Cat's insecurities will keep coming back to haunt her, but the question is - will they wreck everything?

Once again, I'm grateful for the comments.

Tomorrow will be a very busy day so I'm off to post Part 24 now.
