Since some members of this message board, myself included, have their computers set to 800x600 resolution and because the viewable post space on the message board is actually about 560 pixels wide, there's a rule about keeping images to 555 pixels wide or less to avoid problems with lateral scroll.
This, however, doesn't mean that larger pictures can't be accessed and one way to share larger pictures is by making a clickable thumbnail picture that leads to the larger version.
Make sure if you have popup blockers that you allow zoomway.net to be exempt.
Click the URL button.
This first screen will pop up. In the space provided type in the location of the LARGE picture you want to share.
Then click "OK", which will cause the next screen to pop up.
On this screen you will put in the location of the thumbnail picture, but use the image tags. For example:
Be sure to bracket the URL with image tags as shown above, but only on the second popup screen.
This is the result. Just make sure you create a small version of your large picture and upload both to your website, or to a free picture hosting site like Photo Bucket
Feel free to practice in this thread. You should have an image program on your computer that allows you to resize pictures so that you can make thumbnails. Just make sure that you use 'save as...' and give the smaller version of the picture a different file name. This also prevents you from accidentally overwriting the larger picture.
