Certainly, because Clark the alter-ego isn't perfect. I wonder if we are going to see many examples of this in the new comics?
In fanfic he's pretty much been established in the way he's viewed and I hope it doesn't change to reflect the 'new' Clark.

I haven't read fanboy stories in a while. I got tired of Superman/Wonder Woman hook ups. I like Wonder Woman fine, and i would have watched the series that was killed before airing, but I'm not interested in Clark/Diana.

I've argued around and around with my dad on that. He is a fan of Lois but he also likes the idea of WW and Superman having 'more' of a past. I'm sure the PTB in the comics thought of it but had a reason for going in the direction they did. It's odd that Batman is so popular and even though there are B/WW stories, S/WW still seems to be the hook up the fanboys want to see. Especially my dad.

They can have it. That's my breaking point with the new comics. As long as there is the possibility of having to get through an S/WW story arc, no matter how long or short, I'm not going to read them. I'll hear about it in the RPG.
Last time I read WW fanfic most fans and writers were up in arms, too, about the very idea that WW needed a man who is an equal or stronger. Her fans don't like the idea either.

I've seen that. It's an understatement to say they don't like it.

Well, when you come right down to it, it depends on how long it lasts. You never know. If it sells comics it might be a very long arc. If not, fingers crossed, it will disappear quickly. Either way most of the ff will ignore it.

Thankfully. I have my favorite WW authors and it's been a while since I've read fanfic about her. I don't know where the talk about the whole situation is anymore. I've been exclusively into L&C since the last half of '11.

Same here. I listen to my dad and brothers talk and I see what the RPG guys say in the chat room but I'm not interested so far in getting into it. I actually don't read WW fic anymore (since the rumors started last year) just because my dad loves it so much! You have your oldest fanboy and I have mine.
