So did I. I look forward to new strips and I can hardly wait to see how the little Lane and Kent react to their first meeting. What will Kara's and Diana's reactions be, too.

Yes, I've bought all of his fundraising artwork. My favorite is his version of the little Anakin with the Darth Vader shadow poster. Little Clark and Bruce walk along and behind them their shadows are adult Superman and Batman. I'm trying to figure out how to make a skin for my phone with it that won't conflict with the copyright. smile

Speaking of JL8: Love this!
Also this went right past me until an RPGer pointed it out. Hal's Boy Scout troop are all future Green Lanterns! The leader is even called Mr. Scott! That's why Barry and J'onn needed rings!
I guess you can tell I'm not exactly a Green Lantern fan......

My son tried to point that out but I don't follow Green Lantern either so I had no idea what he was saying. All I recognized was John Stewart because I remember little dolls of him in claw machines back in the late 90s or so.

And silly me....I just realized where they are camping. They went to "Mastodon State Park", which actually doesn't exist, as it's been renamed "Mastodon State Historic Site" which really DOES exist, about 40 miles south of me, and about 10 miles from where I grew up. I should have known Yale would use a local landmark!

I don't think we've had any Bigfoot sightings, tho.

Wait....does that mean the JL lives *here*? cool

So what is it about success that turns people into idiots? Do they just get so full of themselves they just think everyone they meet wants to see a questionable selfie of themselves?
I like this comic strip. Come on, guy! Get back on track and do some more.

I hope we haven't just watched the end of this little comic strip. To me it looks like one jealous competitor getting unexpected help from another source and coming close to destroying a fun comic.
It's another example of social media at its worst.

Now that is something to look forward to! Since the series is about young superheroes, I've wondered how Lois would be brought into the storyline. Artwork not part of the storyline indicates Clark and Lois are friends and play together.

I think I'll do some binge reading with the girls, too, while we are off for holiday break. I want to do some binge watching of "Earth 2" on Netflix with them, too.
"Earth 2" was the first TV show I ever tried writing drabbles for in my early days on the internet. I wish I could find some of those but so many of the E2 sites are gone or abandoned.

It's been pointed out that this little Lois has the same coloring, eye and hair, as the Lois in STAS. Also the water spells out SPLASH when little Clark hits the water in the lower left panel of #225. I did not see that until it was pointed out to me.

It's the underdwellers from BTAS. I don't know too much about them because their king, their leader scared the wits out of me when I was little and sneaking Dad's Batman comics to read. I skipped over their TV appearance because he was so scary to me.

That was my first thought, karen! It's kind of sad that we associate outing Superman with Lois almost automatically now. But then, none of his other friends ever did for any reason. Only Lois has the mean streak, I guess.

Get used to it, Miss Lane. Clark Kent will have you feeling like you're having a stroke on a regular basis for the rest of your life!

Yale knows his characters inside and out. Also I like how all the kids have their families to back them up, speaking of backing up elsewhere.

He explained that a while back. Something about so they would have happy childhoods. Except for Bruce, of course, but he has Alfred, who is devoted to him.

Lois Lane...more mature as a child than she ever will be as an adult. In any incarnation.

True to form, though. Doctor or general, Sam Lane is always a jack***.
What a surprising turn, too.

At last!

So the year long date is finally ending.

Kate, who is liking Karen more as a result because she helped us find out Bruce likes to dance

All the wonderful thick necks on the men.
All in step with one another, too, in one of those cop show slow motion marches toward the camera.

Hopefully, whatever Sam Lane is up to in this comic will be fun and not sinister in any way. I like the way these storylines go. There is always something positive for the little heroes-in-the-making to learn.

The mood has been a little dark for this comic lately, I wonder how that will be resolved.
